Regional Wrap Up & State Preview

Many of our athletes concluded their seasons at Dayton this past weekend. Highlighting our performances were a number of podium finishes. For the boys, Jared Lowe (high jump) and Kolan Livingston (discus) just missed out on qualifying for the State Championship with 5th place finishes in their events. The 4x800 relay (Joe White, Zachary Herbert, Jack Schwartz, Cullen O'Brien, and alternate Matt Lautner) also medaled by finishing 8th. Highlighting the girls performances were school-record holder Marley Manigault's 7th place discus throw and Whitley Elsass earning 6th in the 3200. Senior Cullen O'Brien advanced to Saturday's competition at Ohio State by finishing 2nd in the boys 3200. Cullen will race at approximately 2:45-3 Saturday Afternoon. This is his first outdoor track state appearance, having qualified indoor and twice in cross country. Wish him luck as we end another successful spring!
